    1. Oh, yeah. I visited the Maxwell St Market in the mid-80s and it was something to see and hear. Still had itinerant bluesmen plugged in to a nearby apartment via a long extension cord, crowds would gather around, the singer or band would lay into it, someone would pass the hat, and on and on it went, then move down the line for the taco truck, or 5 for a dollar tube socks (that often didn't match in size), second hand this and that. Really a fun day. Gone now. . . .
