DINOSAURIC PRECEPTION ROADMAP BLUES

Today’s “Dinosauric” post sounds pretty typical of what was being played on Country radio during the late 70s and early 80s. While living in “those fair Hawaiian Islands” in that period, driving around town or stuck on H-1, the car stereo would be either blasting homemade cassettes of Howlin’ Wolf and Norteño accordion, or playing the local Country station. At that time a lot of what was beaming over the airwaves seemed pretty schlocky but some of it now sounds pretty good to these old ears, like this one. . . . (No praise for the album cover art, though!)
