Get it: Louis Armstrong Plays W. C. Handy

  1. Hey Frank,
Finally staying somewhere for a night that has reliable WiFi. I know there aren't any sounds from an audience, but is this Louis track live? Hope the Kid and BB are well! ;-)

I'm itching to get posting again, but I think there might be some dodgy stuff on the guy's computer, so I won't email or sign into my account while I'm on the road. I've brought some books and notes with me and have been preparing some posts for my return. The trip out on Via Rail was a big DRAG (my experiences on AMTRAK have been so much better!) I'll send you an email when I get home.

    Talk to you soon,

    1. Hope you all are enjoying your trip. Nice to take some time off from the computer even if not by choice!

No, this is a studio session, well recorded by Columbia in the fifties. The entire Handy LP is pretty nice but this track has been a favorite for years here.
