THE HEEBY JEEBIES LOVE
THRILL ME THROUGH AND THROUGH

“Heeby-Jeebies-Love” made its first appearance (if I remember correctly) as the flip side to a special picture sleeve 45 of “All Around the World” re-released to capitalize on that song’s appearance on the soundtrack to the 1985 kid movie The Explorers.

“Heeby-Jeebies-Love” can be found these days on Little Richard, Vol. 2: Shag on Down by the Union Hall.

  1. Wild! (Not surprisingly.) Great sound quality, too.

    1. Thanks, M. An oddball hybrid of "Tutti Frutti" and "Heebie Jeebies," I guess, and wild as anything Richard ever did. Wish I still the pic sleeve 45. This is from the 1989 Specialty box set which was culled from the larger Ace box which means probably remastered by Roger Armstrong or one of Ace's other genius sound guys; pretty damn good sound for a 1989 CD.
