So, we’ve been around the world this past week, it’s Monday morning, and we’re back home . . . sick.

  1. Today's LP has some great songs on it! - haven't heard the Homesick James before. I used to have a couple of these Blues Classics LPs. Unless my memory's playing tricks, I think one of them was devoted to Detroit.

    Glad you're back from your "world" travels and hope you're not really "sick."

  2. Thanks, Marie; this was a seminal collection of 50s Chicago blues, hasn't been bested except perhaps in sound remastering in the 40-something years since it was issued. A true "blues classic." And, yes, they also put out collections on Detroit, Texas, and Memphis/Delta, all good. Some of the few LPs I still have. . . .

    No, I'm not sick, just homesick for more desktop world traveling. . . .
