Falcon Trio: Cléoma Breaux Falcon, vocal/guitar; Moise Morgan, fiddle; Joseph F. Falcon, accordion. Recorded in New Orleans, 20 Feb 1936.

With many thanks to The Singing Bones.

Stay tuned! Coming up in May, among a couple dozen others, we’ll be bringing you Moon Mullican, Buddy Holly, Arthur “Guitar Boogie” Smith, Roy Orbison, the Sons of the Pioneers, and Phil Ochs. . . .

  1. Love this very talented lady.

  2. Old traditional tune called "I Don't Want Your Greenback Dollar", sung in English, but not as a trio in this recording. Some list it as "East Virginia Blues". Moise was a family friend and musician from the same area. His son, Roy, would later go on to play with Joe in the 1950s and 60s.

    1. I love to hear Cléoma Falcon sing "the blues."
